Zip’s Cafe
In 2022, after years of burger-flipping at Zip’s Cafe, Josh was given the opportunity to contribute concept and copy to the restaurant’s social media accounts. He was quick to flaunt to the brand’s themes of history, simplicity, and longstanding quality.
When Josh’s cousin, Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard, scored a touchdown that saved the team’s playoff chances, Josh saw a chance to turn the public’s attention into more than just “Who Dey” chants. Thus, the Playoff Patty was born. Featuring specialty toppings, a new sauce, and a direct connection with The Sam Hubbard Foundation, this burger blew up on social media, gained attention from several local news outlets, and raised thousands of dollars for a great cause.
The collaboration also led to Zip’s being highlighted in a local Spectrum Ad starring Sam and Josh.
