Live Script Readings

In 2016, Josh was tasked with recruiting fellow comedians to read the script of 1988's Die Hard for a live audience. Upon reading the official script, he decided it needed major adjustments if it was going to work on stage. With only days before the event, he watched, paused, and rewound his copy of Die Hard until he had transcribed the entire film. He peppered in jokes, turned the stage direction into comedic narration, and let the performers go off script. Just like that, they had a hit show on their hands. Since then, the reading has become a Christmas tradition in Cincinnati. Josh would take this show model and apply it to other scripts, such as The Sandlot and Napoleon Dynamite.
